My name is Wendy, and I am the Owner and Founder of Type IT!
For the last 11 years I have been teaching children how to touch type which means I help them type automatically without ever looking at their fingers!
It means they can get all their wonderful thoughts and ideas down onto paper without ever worrying about what their fingers are doing. It’s like having magic fingers!
A lot of the children I help have dyslexia and dypraxia and so learning to touch type is essential for them. It means they can use a laptop to support their learning and also type quickly in their exams.
I am currently promoting an intensive half term course in the February half term from 9am -11am. We have been running these now for a few years now.
They are great fun for children and teens aged 9+. We can even offer some family sessions, so mum and dad can join in and learn too! The cost of the week’s course is £225.00. It’s a fantastic fast track introduction to touch typing.
