These lessons are perfect for adults of all ages who want to feel more confident and efficient when typing, whether you’re a busy professional, returning to work, self-employed, or simply tired of hunting and pecking at the keyboard. You don’t need to be fast or tech-savvy. Just open to learning a new skill in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Each lesson is delivered live on Zoom in a small group of up to four adults, so everyone gets plenty of support and encouragement. I’ll guide you step by step through the learning process, with time to practise, ask questions, and build your confidence. No one is left behind, and we always go at a pace that works for you.

That’s completely okay, and actually, very common! Most adults I work with have never been taught to type properly and feel unsure at first. But this course is designed to be kind, supportive and pressure-free. I’ll be with you every step of the way, and you’ll be surprised how quickly your confidence grows. There’s absolutely no judgment, just real progress at your own pace.

Everyone learns at a different pace, so the short answer is, it depends. Most people will learn all of the letter keys during the course, but building speed and confidence can take longer. Some learners feel ready after four weeks, while others choose to continue with a few extra sessions to really strengthen their accuracy and make touch typing feel automatic. Either way, you’ll come away with a solid foundation and a big boost in confidence.

Don’t worry, these things happen sometimes! If you miss a session, I’ll make sure you’re supported with clear practice instructions to help you catch up at home. Because the course runs in a small group format, I’m not able to offer refunds or reschedule missed lessons, but you’ll still be able to keep up and continue progressing.

We will invoice you for 5 lessons at a time. You will need a minimum of 10 lessons.

We use a variety of carefully chosen typing programmes, tailored to each learner’s strengths, needs and goals. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. We can even design custom lesson content to focus on specific skills or extend your learning further, whether that’s building speed, accuracy or confidence with real-world tasks.

That would be me, Wendy! I’ll be personally leading the course and guiding you through every step. I learned to touch type in my 40s, so I know exactly what it’s like to start as an adult. I’ll be there to encourage you, answer your questions, and help you build confidence at your own pace. This isn’t about being perfect, it’s about real progress, friendly support, and making sure you enjoy learning a new skill that will genuinely make your life easier.
